Acceptance

By using fisho.nz you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Use of the platform

• You must be 13 years or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You agree not to misuse the platform, including attempting unauthorised access, posting false information, or violating any applicable laws.
• All fishing activity must comply with New Zealand fishing regulations including bag limits, size limits and licencing requirements.

User content

When you submit catch photos, competition entries or other content you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform. You retain ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe any third-party rights.

Shop and purchases

Products listed in the Fisho shop are subject to availability. Prices are in NZD and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of pricing errors. Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Club and charter listings

Club and charter operator listings are submitted by third parties. Fisho does not warrant the accuracy of listing information and is not responsible for any bookings or arrangements made with listed operators.

Limitation of liability

Fisho is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.

Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account). Your account and data will be permanently deleted 5 working days after your request. If you log back in during this 5-day window, your deletion request is automatically cancelled and your account is fully restored — you'll be notified when this happens. After the 5-day window closes, deletion is permanent and your data cannot be recovered, though some records (e.g. competition/order history) may be retained in anonymised form for up to 7 years as required by New Zealand tax law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
